• Place Crafting(플레이스 크래프팅) 은 한국 공예의 기본 요소들과 골판지 엔지니어링의 결합이 새로운 융합인재교육 디자인의 기반이 될 수 있는 방법을 탐구하고, 지역을 보다 더 매력적이고 이용자 친화적으로 디자인 할 방법을 연구합니다.

  독점적 디자인은 2019년 진행한 연구의 결과로, 공예 도시랩 공모전 당선작 중 하나이기도 합니다. 이 작품은 대목장의 주요 원리를 재해석하여 풀이나 못을 필요로 하지 않습니다.

  팔각형 한지 나무 격자를 이용하는 현장 참여형 건축물로, 참여자에게 새로운 학습 경험을 제공합니다.

  교육키트에는 세 가지의 크기(대,중,소)와 두 종류의 대칭 (d8과 p8),
  두 종류의 관계들로 구성된 세 가지의 팔각형 프리즘이 들어있습니다.

  이러한 여러 종류의 재료는 다양한 기하학적인 구조적 변형을 만들 수 있게 해주고, 여러 연령대의 참여자에게 모두 적합합니다.

• Place Crafting explores how the combination of basic elements from Korean Craft and corrugated fiberboard engineering can be at the base of the design of new STEAM earning resources and placemaking components.

  The exclusive design is an outcome of a study made in 2019 which was one out of five winners of the Craft City Lab competition. The model reinterprets the main principals from Daemokjang, known as hands-on joints eliminating the need in glue or nails and participatory building process on-site together with the octagonal geometry of Hanji Wooden Lattice to create new three-dimensional learning experience in placemaking scale.

  The educational kit contains three octagonal prisms of three different sizes (Large, Medium, and Small) and two different symmetries (d8 and p8) and two different types of connections. These types allow the creation of multiple geometrical structural variations and can fit with different age groups of participants.
